CMDS Director Marius Dragomir analyzes the 30 years of post-communist history of media and journalism in Romania in a chapter in a new volume on the Romanian political system.
The German-language book, entitled Das politische System Rumäniens, is published by Springer. It offers a comprehensive overview of the political system in Romania since 1989.
The chapter written by Marius Dragomir analyzes the Romanian media landscape in the past 30 years. It identifies three phases of development and finds that the media in Romania has not contributed much to the process of democratization in the country.
