New Video About the State of Open Data Policy Summit With Stefaan Verhulst

CMDS Advisory Board member Stefaan Verhulst opened the State of Open Data Policy Summit in May; a new video now summarizes the key takeaways.

The summit, held on 17 May, was organized by the Open Data Policy Lab, an initiative of The Governance Lab supported by Microsoft. Stefaan Verhulst is The Governance Lab’s Co-Founder and Chief Research and Development Officer.

In his opening speech, he discussed the Third Wave of Open Data focusing on the policies around open data. The event, and the video, feautres high-ranking industry, civil society and government officials, with the keynote given by Microsoft Vice President and Chief Data Officer Juan Lavista M. Ferres.

The Open Data Lab is also running a repository of recent open data developments around the world.
