The Life and Times of Red Mud Reservoir № VII – New Comic Book by CMDS

The comic, published as part of the Black Waters project, was produced by our researcher, Ian M. Cook and graphic artist Gyula Németh, and tells the story of a bauxite tailings storage facility in Almásfüzitő, Hungary.
The story is narrated by the reservoir itself and covers the historical, political, theoretical, cultural and social aspects of Red Mud Reservoir № VII and those who live in its vicinity. Characters are not intended to represent real people.
The comic was first published on Átlátszó, both in English and in Hungarian.
