Telling Investigative Stories

The course will teach methods and strategies used in putting together an investigative story, the last step in an investigative reporting project. They include developing methods to map information gathered during the research process including facts and quotes, selection of information, presentation of data in understandable formats for readers, viewers and listeners and spinning compelling stories based on all the dry facts gathered during the investigation.
Location
The course can be offered at CEU’s premises in Budapest or in the location of the organizations interested in the course. It will be taught by a team consisting of CMDS internal experts and external experts and journalists depending on resources and needs.
